The Troller T4 rides on a shortened T6 Ranger platform. I’m not saying that we may get a 2 door Bronco after all, but with all the product overlap, there is a case for an Americanized Troller T4 over an Americanized Everest.

I agree. I wonder why the FP hasn’t even mentioned the Troller. It is the true successor to the Bronco.

I’d be shocked if Ford brought a 2-door SUV, especially one based on a poorly built 3rd party vehicle.
Even with the Wrangler, the 4-door version seems to be bigger seller (though I’m having trouble finding numbers to back or refute that claim). It would be very surprising if this new Bronco isn’t four door. There is a lot of size overlap with the Explorer, but maybe they think the Explorer has gotten to be too much of a mommy-mobile, and so there is room for something with a tougher image.

Oh, sorry, no, this is the Bronco we’re getting.

This will ruin Craigslist searches forever. “Bronco” has been almost entirely untarnished by dilution of the name. Most Bronco IIs, the only bad ones, have rusted to dust or fallen apart by now, so listings are basically all real trucks...

My hope is for basically a shortened wheelbase unibody version of a Ford Raptor. It’d be the closest thing to a classic Bronco they could produce and would probably sell like hot cakes. I’d probably consider buying one if it’s comparable with a luxury SUV in price (or better).

Third party? Ford owns Troller.
